Joseph F. Berenato spent four years as the Entertainment Editor for The Hammonton Gazette before contributing to Gotham City 14 Miles. Since then, he conceived, edited, and contributed to New Life and New Civilizations: Exploring Star Trek Comics, and has written on the subject for IDW Publishing. He has co-edited (with Rich Handley) three books about Star Wars and two about Planet of the Apes. He is an occasional columnist for Blastoff Comics, and is a frequent guest at area science-fiction conventions. Formerly farming blueberries with his father at Mohawk Farms, Joe has returned to the Gazette with a monthly column and continues to freelance.
